James Blake and Rosalía

Rosalía stars alongside James Blake in the ‘Barefoot in the Park’ video

The video follows childhood versions of the Catalan pop star and the UK songwriter/producer as they grow into adults

James Blake has released a new video for “Barefoot in the Park”, his collaboration with Catalan pop star Rosalía from this year’s Assume Form album.

Rosalía stars in the video alongside Blake. Opening on a shot of a fiery car crash, the video follows childhood versions of Rosalía and Blake as they grow up into adults, with the road eventually leading back to that opening image. The video was directed by Diana Kunst and Mau Morgó, who have previously worked with Rosalía as well as artists like FKA twigs and A$AP Rocky.

Alongside the video, Blake also announced a new round of tour dates, and confirmed that Assume Form would receive a vinyl release on May 10, which will also include a previously unreleased track called “Mullholland”.

Revisit our recent interviews with Rosalía and James Blake, and watch the “Barefoot in the Park” video below.
