This travelling radio station is hitting your favourite summer festivals

Emporio Armani will travel Europe this summer with the Automat Radio truck, including stops at Barcelona’s Life and Death Party and Paris’s We Love Green

Automat Radio powered by Emporio Armani is a travelling online radio station hosted from the back of a truck. Devised by Emporio Armani, the station made its debut at Milan Design Week earlier this year, hosting guest DJs like Running Back label head Gerd Janson and Lithuanian party-starter Manfredas. This summer, it’ll be hitting some of the best festivals around Europe, hosting DJ sets and on-air interview features while giving fans the opportunity to pick up eyewear, experiment with augmented reality, and potentially even be street cast in Emporio Armani’s next eyewear campaign.

Throughout June and July, Automat Radio will travel to festivals and music events across the continent, including Paris’s ultra-eco We Love Green, Barcelona’s Life and Death Party, Albania’s lush Kala Festival, and the island of Ortigia in Syracuse. Check out a video from Milan below, read on for a full list of dates and watch for stops in Paris, Barcelona, and Berlin to pop up on the Dazed Instagram.
