Listen to three incredible remixes of Björk’s ‘Arisen My Senses’

Kelly Lee Owens, Lanark Artefax, and Jlin have all reworked the Utopia track for a ‘slug genitalia coloured’ vinyl release

Björk has released three stunning reworks of “Arisen My Senses”, the opening track of last year’s Utopia.

The first remix comes from Scottish producer Lanark Artefax, whose leftfield techno tracks have been a fixture of Björk’s recent DJ sets. The second, by Indiana producer Jlin, transforms the track into an experimental take on Chicago footwork. The final rework is the most dancefloor-primed, coming from Welsh artist Kelly Lee Owens, a self-confessed Björk superfan whose track “Anxi” previously appeared in the Icelandic star’s cover mix for Mixmag.

“I am floored that there are musicians curious enough to take my music on,” Björk wrote on Twitter. “Couldn’t be more excited about watching those in the coming years.”

The remixes are all set to come out on a limited edition 12”, which Björk describes as “slug genitalia coloured”.

Listen to the remixes below, and revisit our interviews with Lanark Artefax and Kelly Lee Owens.
