Watch Rae Sremmurd’s video for ‘Powerglide’ – Grimes’ new favourite song

Grimes: ‘damn this epic gothy beat and swae lee ethereal vocals i’m deaf to all other music today’

Rae Sremmurd and Juicy J have shared a music video for their new single “Powerglide”. In the video, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi do stunts with a Lamborghini decked out with an American flag, doing doughnuts and generally fucking around until the early hours of the morning. A police helicopter circles above them, shining a spotlight on the car. Juicy J appears and parties with everyone.

The track has a fan in Grimes, who described it as her “new favourite song” on Twitter: “damn this epic gothy beat and swae lee ethereal vocals i’m deaf to all other music today”, she wrote.

The Lambo in the video previously appeared on the cover for “Powerglide”, one of three singles recently released from the duo’s upcoming album SR3MM. SR3MM is a triple album, made up of one Rae Sremmurd full-length and two Swae/Slim solo records, Swaecation and Jxmtro.

The track’s taken from SR3MM, the duo’s upcoming triple(!) album, which is made up of one Rae Sremmurd full-length and two Swae/Slim solo records (Swaecation and Jxmtro). Later this year, the duo will tour with Childish Gambino.
