Two espresso martinis, please! Inside Belvedere’s Club Dirty Brew

Taking over Allpress Roastery in East London, the vodka brand brought together individuals from all creative industries during London Fashion Week

What happens when you take Dalston’s loved coffee stop, Allpress Roastery, and hand the keys over to Belvedere Vodka? You get Club Dirty Brew – a one-night-only transformation from caffeine pitstop to after-hours club, all to celebrate the launch of Belvedere’s new spirit, Dirty Brew. On the first night of London Fashion Week, the space was filled with media, tastemakers and party-starters who traded flat whites for Espresso Martinis.

Below, we break down everything that took place.

IT WAS IN AN EAST LONDON COFFEE STAPLE

By day, Allpress is the definition of a local caffeine temple. For Belvedere, it became something else entirely. Lights went low, the courtyard trees glowed in fiery orange and red, and a coffee roastery turned into a dance floor that felt more Berlin basement than East London café.

IT TOOK THE COFFEE SHOP PARTY TO A NEW LEVEL

You’ve most likely seen those viral videos of coffee shops with DJs transformed into a sort of day party; well, this was that coffee culture with a Belvedere twist. Guests sipped chilled Dirty Brew in chic porcelain espresso cups, indulged in luxe Espresso Martinis, and even queued for a giant Dirty Brew Affogato.. And because no late-night session should be without food, trays of bagels kept the party fuelled.

THERE WERE DJ PERFORMANCES

The night opened with a set from Henri Bergmann, warming up the crowd before a set from  Kelly Lee Owens. Finally, Seth Troxler closed the night.

MUSICIANS SHOWED UP

The crowd mixed fashion week fixtures with music insiders. Mahalia, Daryl McCormack, Ella Eyre, Jonbers Blonde, Beth Ditto, and more were spotted. Between the industry faces, rising talent and DJs in the booth, the takeover delivered on its promise of merging culture, good music and caffeine.
