What went down at Dazed Club’s takeover of Dover Street Market

Last week, Dazed Club were invited to London’s iconic Dover Street Market to celebrate its biannual ‘Tachiagari’

On Friday (August 2), Dazed Club were invited to London’s iconic Dover Street Market to celebrate its biannual Tachiagari (Japanese for ‘beginning’ or ‘start’), in which the store closes to redecorate and restock the space. And we wanted to celebrate their seasonal refresh with some fresh photos and beginnings of our own, by inviting our Club to have their portrait taken and make some new creative friends!

20 Dazed Clubbers picked their favourite T-shirts from the Comme des Garçons Play collection and were then photographed by fellow Dazed Clubber Gracie Brackstone in their self-styled looks! We took over the very polka dotty Comme des Garcons Play section, replete with an amazing installation by Gary card serving as backdrop.

Having explored the store, they were then invited upstairs to the Rose Bakery for lunch in their new tees. The Clubbers arrived as strangers to have their photos taken, but left not just with a gorgeous headshot but with new friends, if the selfies and trail of cake crumbs had anything to do with it. Oh and they got to take their T-shirts home!

See all the looks in the gallery above.
