Dazed has launched a new social media app

Join a global creative community by downloading the Dazed Club app today

Today (February 5) marks the launch of the Dazed Club app, a new free app built for creatives all around the world to connect, collaborate, and share their work with like-minded people.

The Dazed Club app is a place to be scene: a community-driven platform where young creatives are invited to showcase their scenes and foster new connections. Users can share links, photos, and videos, chat and collaborate with other users, and join groups where they can receive advice from industry experts across the globe. In addition, users can access event listings and exclusive editorial content from Dazed.

What does it mean to be scene? It means celebrating youth culture in all its forms and spotlighting the spaces where young people feel most inspired and connected. Now you have the chance to be scene on the Dazed Club app, like our very own Dazed Club app curators who have been using the platform to share snapshots of their scenes and reflect on what creative community means to them. Your crowd awaits: show up, express, connect.

“The Dazed Club app is based on two principles – to jumpstart creative careers and to matchmake creatives all over the world,” says Jefferson Hack, CEO and co-founder of Dazed Media. “Dazed Club is going to shape a new creative future for global youth.”

The Dazed team will also be keeping a close eye on all the brilliant work shared via the app, and will spotlight the most exciting creative projects from new talent across Dazed print, Dazed Digital, and our social media channels.

“Dazed Club is all about connection. It’s a space where creatives can share their portfolios and recent projects with each other and the world,” says IB Kamara, Editor-in-Chief of Dazed. He adds that the Dazed Club app will be “a powerful resource for finding new collaborators and creative inspiration for everyone” and a means of supporting “young people from all backgrounds”.

Jack Sunnucks, Creative Director of Dazed Club, explains that the app will function as a “new ecosystem” for the next generation of creatives. “We launched Dazed Club as a beta membership a couple of years ago and this is a natural evolution - one that’s global,” he says. “Dazed Club is now able to not only offer its audiences behind the scenes access into the creative world of work – but unprecedented access to other young people all over the world to build their creative circles. Who knows what happens when you put this tool into the hands of the next generation - it’s theirs to play with.”

Download the Dazed Club app and join the community today! But don’t just take our word for it: Dazed Club members have already been using the app – here’s what they think of it.

What do you think of the Dazed Club app?

Dazed Club helps me connect with people at events, so the Dazed Club app is the perfect place to keep in touch with everyone.

Have you shared any of your own work on the app?

Yes! The most recent piece of work I shared – which I’m also proud of – is called ‘Spettro’ which was a campaign I shot some months ago. I got some people messaging me to say they loved it.

What’s your favourite thing about the app?

The group chats. They are so useful to talk about specific topics and connect with other people interested in them. I hope to get to know more creatives through the app and perhaps work on a big project all together, as a collective.

Have you shared any of your own work on the app?

I shared my piece which was chosen for the Dazed Club ‘Holiday Calendar’, along with some other photography work that I’m extremely proud of: I’m dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the industry and challenging traditional beauty standards, often collaborating with disabled models.

What’s your favourite thing about the app?

The opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and fellow creatives. Whether it’s sharing opinions, seeking assistance, or finding collaborators, everyone is incredibly welcoming and supportive. It genuinely feels like a second home, a perfect place to be. I've already introduced all my friends to it: there are numerous offers, discounts, and fascinating events to explore. You can even join specific groups – such as the group for music enthusiasts – to connect with people who share your interests or engage in discussions with them. It’s truly amazing, and I’d love to see everyone there, creating one big Dazed family!

Mateo, aspiring musician

What do you think of the Dazed Club app?

I’m so happy to be on the app. I have been part of Dazed Club since it started over a year ago. Now, since the app has launched, I’ve been so, so happy with all the opportunities that have started appearing and I’ve made genuine connections with many of the members. I actually filmed my music video yesterday with a videographer I met from the founding members’ launch!

What’s your favourite thing about the app?

Finding events by Dazed that I can attend – especially when they’re free, because it’s so hard to afford creative events when you’re living paycheck to paycheck as a creative in London. I also love seeing callouts from people on my level that need people to help out, because I’m all about expanding my portfolio and collaborating.

Amber, creative director and Dazed Club app curator

What do you think of the Dazed Club app?

It’s a great way to connect with other people and share projects, similar passions. I’ve actually made a TikTok about it here.

What’s your favourite thing about the app?

Meeting new people for sure – it feels like a club.

Holly, photographer and art director

What do you think of the Dazed Club app?

It’s been great so far! Even though I don’t know anyone on there personally (yet), there is definitely a sense of community. The creative industry is usually so competitive, so it’s really nice to see people being genuine and helping each other out instead of seeing each other as competition. It’s really refreshing!

Have you shared any of your own work on the app?

I was already a member of The Dots before, so my work was already uploaded, and I have had a few people reach out saying they’d like to assist or collaborate off the back of that! I put an ad out for a personal project I’m working on, which had a great response too.

What’s your favourite thing about the app?

Definitely the question feature! I’ve already been exposed to so many creatives and opportunities I wouldn’t have heard about otherwise, and it’s useful for general stuff too. I was in New York last week and asked for recommendations: loads of people got back to me with suggestions for galleries, shops, restaurants. As I said before, it feels like more of a creative community than a ‘serious’ app for professionals which massively takes the pressure off and makes it more fun.
