Dazed 100 2018

The 2018 Dazed 100 is your guide to the people whose moment is now

A brand new list of 100 names set to shape the future of youth culture

The Dazed 100 is back! This is your guide to the people whose names you need to know in 2018.

The new list includes names from South Korea to South Africa, Tokyo to Tallinn, including the likes of ten-year-old “drag kid” Desmond Is Amazing, and Korea’s first openly-gay K-pop idol Holland, trans activist and model Munroe Bergdorf. Meanwhile, groups like Justice4Grenfell and the #NeverAgain movement represent the current surge in political empowerment amongst today’s youth.

In music, there’s a host of exciting names including New York-based Korean DJ Yaeji, SOPHIE, the Glasgow producer and musician exploring themes of femme, queer sexuality, DIY star Jimothy Lacoste, and Peggy Gou, the first Korean woman to play Berghain.

And there's a Dazed 100 first, as Instagram model Lil Miquela appears on the list – even though she’s a digitally created, CGI character who doesn’t actually exist IRL. Who better to represent our ever-growing obsession with social media?

Over the next six weeks, the list will be ranked according to your votes, with the final winner decided by you.

Previous Dazed 100 winners include actress/model Hari Nef and musician Troye Sivan. In 2018, hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner, Finn Wolfhard, is fellow Stranger Things cast member Sadie Sink. But deciding who comes out on top this year is up to you – so check out the full list here and be sure to cast your vote before June 5.
