Werner Herzog investigates meteors in the Fireball documentary trailer

Fireball: Visitors from Darker Worlds premieres on Apple TV+ on November 13

Werner Herzog’s latest documentary, Fireball: Visitors from Darker Worlds, has received a new trailer.

The film, which will land on Apple TV+ on November 13, explores the impact that shooting stars, meteorites, and deep impacts have had on the human imagination.

“Each one of these stones from darker worlds has its own story, and the bigger ones have changed entire landscapes,” Herzog says in the trailer. “We do not know what in the future is coming for us, but untold numbers of these voyagers from afar are still on the way.”

Fireball sees Herzog reunite with volcanologist Clive Oppenheimer, who previously worked with the filmmaker on Encounters at the End of the World and Into the Inferno.
