These included stills from the movie Scrooge, jacquard prints taken from Gustave Doré’s depictions of Dante’s Inferno, and abstracted prints with limbs assembled in a Kubrick-style orgy. Though Mark and Argentina are beloved for their irreverent art-school creations – cheese wheel hats and the like – this collection produced some slightly more wearable pieces. There were languid, sequined columns and two pieces, marbled leggings, ruched cargo pants, asymmetric bodycons, and scooped, body-baring knitwear. That’s not to say the whole thing was without comic relief, though. Floral-print dresses hung from structural arcs, cocktail dresses resembled mirrored gift wrapping, and metallic mini bags were affixed with resin cookie claps.
