Join Kelsey Lu, Goth Jafar and more at Dr Martens’ two-day NYC takeover

Taking place at a warehouse in Brooklyn, the event celebrates the brand’s Made Strong campaign

In the over 60 years since footwear brand Dr Martens first launched, it has gone from creating work boots to being recognised as a symbol of counterculture and self-expression. This week, to launch its ‘Made Strong’ platform, the shoewear brand will be putting on a two-day event in New York City with an exciting lineup of bold live performers and DJs who embody a newfound definition of strength.

Taking place at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse, in Brooklyn the event is a celebration of individuals, collectives and communities whose dedication to resilience remains at the forefront of their creative practices.

On Thursday night, the event is kicking off with its headline show featuring former Dazed 100 musician Kelsey Lu. Attendees can enjoy a set by NYC DJ Goth Jafar and an opening set by Mijita. On Friday night, the warehouse will be transformed into a Boiler-inspired nightclub with performances from Venus X, Hank Korsan and Pedrose.

Elsewhere, over the course of both days, there will be an immersive experience created by native NYC photographer and creative director Adam Zhu. Images, and a projected video, true to his raw and unfiltered style will be throughout the space, bringing the ‘Made Strong’ campaign inspired by New York to life in a way Dr Martens has never done before.

Sign up to attend here and stay tuned to find out more about the brand’s ‘Made Strong’ platform.
