I feel the rush! Troye Sivan just walked the runway for Miu Miu

The pop star walked alongside Petra Collins and Cailee Spaeny at Mrs P’s SS24 show in Paris

Congratulations: we’ve officially survived until the last day of fashion month. Before we hop onto the bed bugs-ridden Eurostar to close out the SS24 season, however, pop star-slash-fragrance mogul Troye Sivan just showed up to serve one of Paris Fashion Week’s most major moments: his official debut as a Miu Miu boy. While we’ve seen Sivan all over the front row this season [in fact, we captured his biggest icks and cute FROW fits over on TikTok], this time, the musician joined Miuccia’s cast of models – walking the Miu Miu runway in a short-sleeve polo top and scrunched-up shirting paired with draw-string swim-trunks and moccasins.

Also joining him on the runway was Gigi Hadid, who sported a black, beaded skirt and blazer set with shorts popping out from the waist-line [a styling staple in a majority of the looks coming down the runway – at times, even stacked-up with multiple pairs], next-gen supermodel Anok Yai, who was dressed in a similarly styled matching set, and Petra Collins, who wore a shimmering, v-neck dress. Elsewhere, models wore cute, tiered mini-skirts paired with “miu miu”-emblazoned jackets; white, ruffled shirting and tied-up speedo-style underwear, leather two-piece sets, and glittering, loose-fitted embellished dresses.

Following the show, the label stated on Instagram that the collection “explores a rationale of beauty today”. With that in mind, it seems that Mrs. P’s version of modern beauty comes perfectly dishevelled and completely undone. Besides models’ hair appearing wet and unstyled from the shower, outfits were topped off with pairs of clear glasses, leather handbags filled to the brim with Miu Miu clothing, chunky ankle bracelets, and flat, braided sandals revealing plasters in neon shades of pink, yellow, and green looped around models’ toes. Well, if this season’s chunky, ankle-twisting boots or flimsy slippers come around for SS24 – we’ll definitely be purchasing.
