Boiler Room drops merch in support of Moroccan earthquake aid

After a strong quake ripped through the Atlas Mountains and left Marrakesh and the surrounding areas devastated, the platform just dropped a new t-shirt to raise funds for crucial relief

ICYMI, last week a powerful 6.8 magnitude earthquake rumbled through Morocco’s Atlas mountains, causing widespread devastation in the surrounding villages and spreading as far as Marrakesh, where buildings crumbled and collapsed and people fled into the streets.

Right now, the death toll stands at over 2,000 people, with many still missing, and the country desperately needs aid to help support those who have been affected and displaced and rebuild homes, schools, and businesses.

To help get money flowing into the country, a series of fundraisers have popped up across the weekend, and now, Boiler Room has dropped a new t-shirt in support of the country. “Next week we were due to host our first Boiler Room Marrakesh session since 2019 – and this event will now be postponed until further notice,” BR wrote in an Instagram post announcing the tee drop.

“Profits will go to Human Appeal’s Morocco Emergency Fund, which will deliver crucial relief [food, water, medical supplies] to save lives on the ground,” it added. The t-shirt is now on sale until September 17, and you can grab one here. If you’d prefer to donate straight to the source, head here
