Rihanna just dropped a slinky teaser for her next Savage x Fenty show

Shut up and watch

For all those thinking the next thing Rihanna dropped on us would be the album: LOL. Seriously, guys? Instead, she just announced the date for her third Savage x Fenty extravaganza with a slinky little Instagram teaser.

For those looking to pencil the occasion into their diaries (hello, hi!), the show is set to land on Amazon Prime midway through fashion season on September 24.

Further details are, for now, as scant as the Versace-esque chainmail number RiRi wears in the video clip, but have no doubt it will be a full-on fashion fantasy, featuring endless appearances from some of pop culture’s biggest icons.

Cast your mind back to September 2020 and you might recall the musician and lingerie mogul lighting up lockdown with a diverse ensemble cast including Bella Hadid, Demi Moore, Paris Hilton, Paloma Elsesser, and blushing bride Normani, who cavorted their way through the feature-length presentation in all manner of Savage confections.

The news follows hot on the heels of the debut of a standout Savage x Fenty campaign that saw Rihanna enlist all-Black female biker gang the Caramel Curves to slip into her undies. While you wait for September 24 to roll around, revisit some of the best looks from last year’s Amazon Prime show above.
