A new Simone Rocha x H&M collab is coming

Your first look at pieces from the upcoming collection

In v good news for fans of Simone Rocha who lack the cold hard cash to score anything from her mainline offering, the London-based designer has just been revealed as H&M’s latest collaborator. Following in the footsteps of Martin Margiela, Rei Kawakubo, Donatella Versace, and more, Rocha is set to drop a capsule offering of womenswear, cute kidswear, and, for the first time ever, menswear.

First landing on the fashion scene back in 2010, Rocha has since gone on to become one of Britain’s brightest talents. Known for her avant-garde silhouettes and ongoing exploration of femininity, she’s also big on reworking history for the modern day – scattering pretty, puff-sleeved dresses with intricate floral motifs and pearl embellishments straight out of the Elizabethan and Tudor courts, and drawing inspiration from figures including Anne Boleyn and Mary Queen of Scots.

With Rocha digging into her archives for the H&M collab, standout pieces include seersucker cotton dresses, heavy brocade coats, pearl-dotted trenches, and embroidered floral gowns with diaphanous tulle skirts. Basically, for those currently obsessed with the likes of Bridgerton, 2021 should probably be looking up.

In a short video celebrating the announcement, Rocha discusses working with H&M, and how thrilled she is to be able to create an accessible, inclusive collection. Fans and collaborators are also on hand to share their love of the label, with Adwoa Aboah, Tess MacMillan, and Daisy Edgar-Jones all on the line-up, alongside Dazed family member Robbie Spencer, who styled the campaign.

For those looking to get their hands on pieces from the limited edition collection, mark March 11 in your diaries now, watch the film below, and take a sneak peek at the line in the gallery above.
