Hood By Air just posted a cryptic teaser on IG

After Shayne Oliver revealed his plans for the label’s second coming last month, a glitchy new clip has appeared on its social channels

After landing back on the scene with details of its second coming in July, Hood By Air has this morning teased a new project.

Taking the form of a glitchy video posted to the brand’s social media channels, the clip alternately flashes up a variation of the HBA logo, as well as a bunch of blink-and-you’ll miss them credits that wouldn’t look amiss on a movie poster.

With Shayne Oliver’s radical label now split into four subsections – Hood By Air, HBA, Museum, and Anonymous Club – Anonymous Club is listed multiple times within the graphic.

Given this arm of the brand is set to take the form of a new, independent platform dedicated to emerging artists, musicians, and designers who will join forces with Hood By Air on projects of different mediums, our guess is that we’re about to see our first collaborator. With little else in the way of clues, aside from a hint that it’s ‘based on a novel by Asso’, thankfully there’s not long to wait, with August 13, exactly one week today, outlined as the drop date in the video.

Keep your eyes on the brand’s IG for more, and in the meantime, check out our anarchic history of Hood By Air, as told by the people who’ve been there from the start – with Mykki Blanco, Telfar Clemens, and Dazed’s Editor-in-Chief Isabella Burley among them.
