Lady Gaga’s latest altruistic move? Dropping a pink Chromatica jockstrap

Fresh from raising $35 million in COVID-19 aid, the iconic singer is blessing her Little Monsters’ underwear drawers

Let it never be said that Lady Gaga doesn’t know how to treat her Little Monsters. With her long-awaited album Chromatica postponed back in March in the face of the coronavirus, the iconic musician just dropped the next best thing: a neon pink jockstrap and matching thong bearing the new record’s logo.

With Chromatica now mercifully scheduled to drop on May 29, the pieces, which retail at $20 for the thong and $30 for the jockstrap form part of an extensive merch line available on Ms. Germanotta’s dedicated website.

For example, should you be so inclined, you could team the bum-baring style with a “Stupid Love”-emblazoned tee and a pair of tie-dye logo socks and lie on a Chromatica pillow while listening to the new album on a cassette and drinking a cup of coffee from an “It’s a Sine” mug (in reference to Elton John collab “Sine From Above”). You wouldn’t have a great deal of change from $250 were you to go quite so all out, tbh, but technically, you could if you wanted to.

Releasing the Lady Gaga-approved jockstrap out into the world isn’t the only altruistic move the gay icon has made in recent times, however. Last month, she raised $35 million for COVID-19 aid and masterminded the One World: Together At Home benefit, which saw the likes of Billie Eilish, Burna Boy, J Balvin, and Gaga herself perform in their homes for millions of people around the globe.

Though she’s already given so much, all that’s left for her to do now is make the collection available in the UK. Over to you, Queen G.
