Anna Wintour is offering a masterclass in how to make it in fashion

Including lessons on creativity and leadership, the Vogue icon has released 12 educational videos as part of the MasterClass series

Discussing some of Vogue’s most historic moments, sharing the stories of the likes of Miuccia Prada and Michael Kors, and providing unprecedented access to the 2019 Met Gala, Anna Wintour has teamed up with MasterClass to share her top tips on how to run one of the world’s most influential fashion magazines.

Joining the likes of Annie Lebovitz and Diane von Furstenberg, the Vogue editor-in-chief has released a dozen videos on the educational resource company’s website and app. “It’s easy to become famous today. It isn’t always so easy to become successful,” she explained in a promotional interview with Good Morning America.

Bestowing her words of wisdom on anyone with internet access (oh, and a spare £200) this is a first for the fashion mogul –  “This is a class for those who want to understand my leadership style,” Wintour states in the trailer for the course. “I have never had the opportunity to share the many lessons I have learned as an editor and a creative leader in one place before.”

Gaining perspective on how to spot up-and-coming talents and trends, the course will also shed some light on how Wintour has remained one of fashion most recognisable and influential figures. As well as discussing some of Vogue’s most historic moments, from Madonna’s 1989 cover to KimYe’s controversial 2014 appearance, the series is also sure to serve up some great, high-fashion drama.
