Watch a hazy Saint Laurent film about an angsty love triangle

Directed by Bret Easton Ellis, the film is the latest instalment in the Parisian house’s SELF series curated by Anthony Vaccarello

Towards the end of last year, Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello launched a new art project entitled ‘SELF’. With the idea to work against censorship, those commissioned to collaborate would be given freedom to express themselves on an artistic commentary on society. So far, the project has seen Japanese photographer Daidō Moriyama and Italian contemporary performance artist, Vanessa Beecroft take part.

The latest instalment of the series, comes courtesy of a short film named ‘Arrangement’, directed by American author and screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis. Starring Dutch model, Tes Linnenkoper, alongside actor Hopper Jack Penn and Dakota Lindvall, son of 90s supermodel Angela Lindvall who has previously walked for the house twice.

Accompanied by Petula Clark’s version of the 60s hit record “The Windmills of Your Mind”, the short film explores how one’s tainted imagination can lead to a clouded sense of reality. Exploring themes of jealousy and obsession, we see two men trying to get the attention of a single woman – with the film ending unresolved.
