Jacquemus SS18 ‘La Bomba’ film

Watch a gang of models take over a Spanish villa for new Jacquemus film

The newly released ‘La Bomba’ takes the SS18 collection to Tenerife

Back in September (yes, it was that long ago) Simon Porte Jacquemus took us to the beach with his SS18 collection that featured gargantuan sun hats, spaghetti strap dresses and models who looked like they had spent a little too long in the sun – in the best way. Not long after, the SS18 campaign followed with models letting loose on a black sand beach in Lanzarote.

Now with the collection (finally!) hitting stores, the French designer has teamed up with director Gordon von Steiner and created the short film entitled ‘La Bomba’ – just like the collection. Shot in Tenerife with a breathtaking ocean view as the backdrop, the film moves between different characters from models and dancers to acrobats and Jacquemus’s little cousin, Jean – all dressed in the new collection obviously.

With PFW fast approaching, the AW18 collection will debut on Monday. Watch this space to see which far-flung location Jacquemus heads to next.
