Advancing this idea, designers Patric DiCaprio and Bryn Taubensee combined a razor-sharp aesthetic with elements of the lurid, fantastical and outrageous. There were plenty of the geometric silhouettes for which Vaquera is well known, some of them so absurdly oversized they would make David Byrne blush. Other notable pieces include high-waisted hot pants, belted tops, a leather zipper dress, and a resplendent coat in yellow crocodile-print.
