According to the show notes, the collection was meant to reinvent everyday objects into brand new, wearable art. “I took a different approach to making clothes than before,” the designer explained. “By treating ready-made items – objects originally intended for specific purposes – as one of the materials, I recontextualised them and explored forms that could never be achieved through conventional methods.”
