The location for Dilara Findikoglu’s SS26 catwalk show was central London’s Ironmongers’ Hall, home to the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers, first established during the city’s medieval era. It was a symbolic space for the show, which was based on the concept of freeing women from their metaphorical iron shackles – not to mention Findikoglu’s love for the medieval. Titled Cage of Innocence, the collection intended to “give voice to the memories and experiences of women past and present,” according to the show notes.
