The collection, Dragons Unwinged at the Butchers Block, was to be the final show in Carzana’s Trilogy of Hope. While AW24’s Melanchronic Mountain was an “emotional ascend upwards to heaven,” and the back garden show How To Attract Mosquitoes was a descent into the underworld, Dragons would be set between the two, in purgatory. For purgatory, then, Carzana would explode the colour palette: when the show began, models entered the pub in the designer’s whimsical attire, but in pinks and yellows and purples, fiery hues to match the theme of the collection.
