Overall, it was a moodier collection than we’re used to seeing from the designer. A palette consisting of black, teal and deep maroons signalled a slick, edgier and elevated showcase. Last season, O’Dwyer caused a social media storm with a presentation that featured queer women kissing uncontrollably. This season, the show was altogether more demure, yet stayed true to the designer’s ethos of empowering bodies in all their forms.
