“This collection is actually very emotional for me, because I never talk about myself,” Louis-Gabriel Nouchi told us backstage, after his latest Paris Fashion Week show. “I feel I always hide with books or other subjects.” And even though a very famous book, George Orwell’s 1984, did serve as an inspiration for this collection, Nouchi used its themes as a jumping off point to talk about the rigid dictates of 2025, ones he feel bear a striking resemblance to Orwell’s imagined world.
