Celebrating 50 years of the iconic house, Casey Cadwallader’s SS25 show was an “ode to inner-force, to depth of beauty, and to Mugler’s unbreakable strength of character.” A much more pared-back affair than last season’s dramatic drones and curtain call set pieces, Cadwallader was also inspired by recent exploits in gardening, which appeared in a very Mugler-esque manner through fine layered, floral-coded dresses and velvet flowers appliqued onto sheer gowns.
