As the assembled fashion press waited for Noir Kei Ninomiya’s latest show to begin, the brand wheeled out one of those multicoloured maze toys from a dentist’s waiting room, just in case they got bored. Very thoughtful… but wait! On closer inspection, there was a model in there. The tangle of technicolour wires was, in fact, the first look, as confirmed by the accompanying voiceover: “First look.” This kicked off a playful presentation titled Iridescence, soundtracked by erratic percussion and the aforementioned narrator, though he grew increasingly distracted.
