“In the twenties, as a response to the world that surrounded them, people created their own spaces through speakeasies,” said Maximilian Davis in a statement before the show. “They were hiding what they were wearing until they were safe.” Ferragamo’s latest collection, Spirit, promised to explore the decade from Davis’s distinct view, and Hari Nef, Kelela and Manu Rios were all there to watch him do it from the front row.
