While tailoring has cropped up in various iterations this menswear season, Junya Watanabe took the preoccupation one step further, sending a new breed of Frankensuits down his Paris runway. With a collection that focussed on “reconstructed suiting”, the Japanese designer used an assortment of hemmed together garments to propose an alternate silhouette for today’s fashion-conscious man.
