After dropping subtle hints on the JW main for well over a week, Jonathan Anderson switched to his personal account one day before the show, providing solid evidence of what was to come. “Nearly show time… see you tomorrow”, he wrote below a still of Kidman and Cruise in Eyes Wide Shut, shouting out Stanley Kubrick’s wife and muse Christiane. And when showgoers piled into an endless black space to the sound of tense violins, all would soon become clear.
