Backdropped by the blue and white stripes of Cornishware – a style of ceramics popularised in the UK during Anderson’s childhood, which also served as invites – the designer presented his skewed take on school-boy shorts, mop-head sweaters, and paw-toed clogs (perhaps inspired by his own English pointer). There were hourglass rugby shirts, deep v-neck dresses inspired by the sofa in Anderson’s office, and leather trench coats with child-like tabard fronts. The whole thing felt a little more reined in than Anderson’s recent collections.
