Part knight’s tale, part Restoration comedy, models walked in cartoonish suits of armour, some embedded with twee chinaware, others rendered in fluro tartan and padded sequins. There were clawed shoes and feathered tricorn hats, presbyterian collars and mini kilts, slashed breeches and fuzzy cocktail dresses – all of which had been modernised with athletic, body-conscious cuts.
