Ferragamo AW23

Backstage, a moodboard had been pinned with images of Marilyn Monroe and Renaissance sculptures, with Davis’ collection an attempt at modernising the tropes of old-school glamour. If Ferragamo became famous for its decorative accessories in the 1950s (beloved of Audrey Hepburn etc) then Davis’ approach is all about restraint. His AW23 collection was a stealth-wealth wardrobe, reduced and refined with precision-cut tailoring, sheath-like silhouettes, and 45-degree angle stilettos.
