Musical notes figured on jacquard jackets, tracksuits, and mohair knitwear; slip dresses and belted coats took on the curvaceous silhouette of traditional Indian guitars; while sound waves were etched onto floor-scraping recycled denim skirts. Earthen reds, magentas, and zingy greens compounded the vibration-raising mood, appearing on hooded cocktail dresses, column gowns, and double-breasted tailoring. Meanwhile, footwear, which was a first for Ahluwalia, ran the gamut of Ska loafers and thigh-high video vixen boots.
