Botter SS23 womenswear

Off the runway, Herrebrugh and Botter are known for funnelling profits from the business into coral reef farms, which they established along the coast of Curaçao during the pandemic. This kind of research led the designers to a new, sustainable material made entirely from kelp, which they fashioned into form-fitting dresses into subaquatic prints and scuba-sheaths. Knitted sneakers, meanwhile, were embedded in see-through outer soles, giving the impression that models were walking on water all along.
