In 1994, Franco Moschino emblazoned a t-shirt with the phrase “good taste doesn’t exist”, coining a slogan that would become something of a punchline for the fashion house. It’s something Jeremy Scott has always taken incredibly seriously, creating highly thematic, and often political collections which poke fun at just how serious the fashion world takes itself. This season, the designer tackled the issue of rising inflation – and quite literally – blowing up inflatable clothing like garish party balloons, with nozzles and helium.
