This season at Gucci, the collection was about “all sides of Gucci, all at once,” as Alexander Fury put it. Taking key features from across the years and eras of the house – maximal, minimal, retro, modernist – the collection played with history and legacy, embracing everything that Gucci has and will continue to be. Running through the collection was a sense of eternal luxury and this was reflected in the make-up by Dame Pat McGrath, who keyed a series of looks that embraced a vision of contemporary sophistication.
