Ahmed Adan Alasar | أحمد العصار, 30 x 60 cm, charcoal, rubble ash, June 2024 'The piece tells of the tragic event that took place in Gaza in December. It tells the story of a beautiful girl named Shams who died because the ambulance did not reach the scene of the incident. Shams died from severe neck bleeding which led to her death. Shams represents the story of every child in the world who dies due to the lack of medical resources in wartime conditions.'
