“A couple of minutes after the blast, I ran with all my strength towards my wife and children to see if they were still alive. I couldn't see left from right as smoke filled the air, my ears were clogged, I couldn't hear anything. I grabbed my family, who were all shaking and injured, and we struggled to walk as far away from Beirut as possible.”
