There comes a point, towards the end of fashion season, where everyone is more than ready for it to be over. The shows have been non-stop since mid-January, and by the time we get to March, we could all do with a weekend off. Then, during the final stretch of Paris Fashion Week, something magical happens: we’re resurrected by a megawatt line-up of three avant-garde Japanese designers, all in one day – Junya Watanabe, Noir Kei Ninomiya, and Comme des Garçons.
