For AW26, Hodakova took inspiration from introspection, looking inwards at our inner selves, but also at our personal interiors. Mirrors, for instance, are used to decorate the walls of our houses, but also reflect who we are. In the collection, mirrors were used as headpieces that framed the face, but also to obscure the viewer’s perceptions. Furniture is another of Larsson’s favourites, often remodelling chairs and tables into wearable art – seen again this time around, now worn as tops and skirts.
