Humor aside, the collection paid a touching tribute to Appiolaza’s Argentinian heritage – showing up anywhere from a long t-shirt dress stamped with a pixelated image of Eva Perón to a chocolate-dipped churro handbag, and flowing dresses printed with the traditional filete porteño-style patterns which can be seen painted throughout Buenos Aires.
