Citing her background in architecture as inspiration, Vitto’s work has always been sculpted around the body. Taking this ethos even further, the pieces in Thaw utilised a range of zips and hidden elastics to allow for a higher level of adjustability, rejecting the idea that “we need to fit into the clothes, rather than clothes fitting us.”
