Sticking mostly to a soft palette of blues and pinks, the collection had a dreamy, sensuous quality, like a couture version of what a fairy godmother might wear to a party at an enchanted cottage. There were flowing silk blouses, dainty bows, frilly, apron-like tailoring and elegant button work. If that all sounds a little twee, the sharpness of the designs prevents the collection from floating off into pure whimsy or the realm of fancy dress.
