As the show progressed, the looks became more flamboyant, at times evoking a bright, Pop Art sensibility and at others an almost Jazz Age decadence: purple dresses and red ball gowns, skirts with gold-chain fringing, giant bows and white feather ruffles. All in all, the collection was diverse and playful, skilfully blending the stripped-back and the maximalist; clothes you could wear to the office, on the subway, or at the wildest parties.
