Secondly, the literal inspiration for SS26 was the Bird of Paradise plant, which, on the runway, was translated into colourful plumed jackets made using real feathers, which Roseberry described as “our most fantastical jackets yet”. This season’s accessories were also covered in birds’ heads, but made from silk, resin and pearls. Roseberry is quick to remind that “no birds were harmed in the making of these pieces.”
