On the runway, this ethos gave the impression the clothes had sprung from a brook or been cleaved from the side of a soft clay mountain. Forms remained fluid and naturalistic, with structure taking a backseat, replaced by a kind of graphic simplicity. All stitching, piping, buttons and zippers had also been hidden in order to further avoid any “visual interruption”.
