The collection itself – which was styled by Lotta Volkova – deconstructed 1950s housewife uniforms from their original forms. Sweet, ballgown skirts were belted onto skin-tight mini dresses, cardigans were pulled up over models’ chests as if they were frozen while half-undressed, babydoll dresses were cinched-up with crystal harnesses, and pink strings of pearls were blown up to XXL proportions. Meanwhile, artist and director Petra Collins made a catwalk cameo, modelling a puffed-up floral skirt and layered tanks with a head full of hair rollers.
