On the runway, wooden beadwork crept along floor-length black dresses, built to represent the way viral moments take over our brains; classic, oversized black suiting was presented with extra sets of sleeves falling from the front of the jacket; light-washed denim jackets were stretched asymmetrically across the body into full-length gowns; and midi skirts and dresses came comprised completely out of arm-holes. Together, with sharply-tailored suiting and slinky, glamorous eveningwear, the collection provided a glimpse at the craftsmanship and creativity that’s put Dumi on fashion’s radar.
